Origin Story

In the mid-90’s, I bought myself an electric bass guitar, thinking I could teach myself how to play. Needless to say, I was no James Jamerson or Wayman Tisdale! But, while giving it a try, I joked around with my young son that I needed a “stage name” if I ever became famous! Actually, had better luck coming up with the name than playing that bass! (Although I could almost play along to The Temptations’ “Papa Was A Rollin’ Stone”!) Gave it some thought and decided to name myself after my favorite actor’s alias & my favorite NFL team.

Bruce Willis released his first album in 1987 called “The Return Of Bruno” on Motown Records. His singing alias is Bruno Radolini. So, I took “Bruno” and used “Lyons” from the Detroit Lions, with a “y” to make it look like more of a real last name. “Bruno Lyons” was born!

Now close to 30 years later, “Bruno Lyons” is not only my “stage name” or alias, but also my brand! Welcome and take a look around. The music career never took off, but living the cigar lifestyle has. I hope to bring to you merchandise that can add to your cigar lifestyle.
